My friend Phan sent me a litle music called "The far far west end", the music is quite speed, light, with some drama coming later, good to illustrate a ride, and I illustrated this with my cowboy crossing the desert to the west. Ok, I must practice horses a little bit Haha but I haven't drawn a lot of horses in my life.. just rode them virtualy when I was a kid..

Well.. this week, the topic is a little more difficult.. I'm not entirely satisfied with this illustration, not enough emotion.. or maybe the tools I used are not enough expressiv, experimenting gouach in painter. I will try another one later if I can. :)

The sketch was fast to do, about 2 minutes but the colors took more looonger... GASP!

This was the kind of scene I wanted to have first, something "light", quiet with this guy at the window, looking down to the trafic jam.. thinking:

" What kind of life do they have?"

" Hey! nevermind, I have my red flying car!! ".

Drawing scaned and colorized in Photoshop. One of the first idea I got for the flight. This guy is testing a prototype, or the prototype is testing him.. I've done some clouds behind but there was too many informations for the eyes, this way, the scene is more clear.

Haha, ok, that was not fair showing only Rico in my blog, so I found 2 older pictures in my album, when I was on holliday in Reunion Island to visit our family some years ago.. First, "Dhomi", bringing the drink's bag on the beach, looks like a dealer, haha. And second, the younger one, "Bertz", that is still living in Reunion Island, playing with my nephew on the beach.

Damn, that make me think that my old Canon eos 5000 wasn't bad but digital camera is killing older camera.. Bha, I wish I have a magic wand to transform my eos into a digital one :). Sorry for the quality of this pictures bros, I just took a picture of the picture :)), my scanner suxxxx..
